Car Body Repairs Since 1982.

KCW Bodyshop’s story began in 1982, when Barry Skates established B&S Coachworks in a small workshop in Hartnup Street, Maidstone. Offering car body repairs to retail customers as well as local dealerships, the business quickly earned a reputation for quality. When Barry retired in 2002, Keith Burgess, an expert with over 40 years experience in bodywork repairs, took over and continued to grow the business.

In 2021, the Hartnup Street workshop was earmarked for re-development and so Andrew (a long standing customer of B&S Coachworks) purchased the business from Keith and moved the workshop (and Keith) to their current location in Aylesford. The business was then renamed KCW Bodyshop. Since then, Andrew & Keith have continued to grow the business, blending its rich heritage with modern techniques to deliver outstanding results.

KCW Bodyshop repairs on all makes and models of cars and small vans, from classic vehicles of the 1960s to the present day. We are also fully equipped to work on the latest electric vehicles (EVs).
